About

My name is Dr Adrian Camilleri and I have spent my career trying to help people make better decisions. After completing my PhD in psychology, I spent a decade in academia doing what young professors do: trying to understand how people make everyday decisions, such as which product to buy, and then publishing academic papers about what I found.

A few years ago, I found myself amidst a number of big life decisions: Should I get married? What country should we live in? What job should I take? Should we buy a house? Should we have children? It turned out that none of my research was helpful with these choices. Frankly, there also wasn’t much to help in the academic journals.

So, I decided to begin the Biggest Life Decisions project. The idea was to better understand what people’s biggest life decision were and to learn from those who had been there before.

This website is my attempt to share that project with the world. To give people an opportunity to contribute to the project while also learning from those who have previously participated. I hope you find something valuable here.
